Transglobal Arts was started in early 2009 by a guy named Tom McCardle from Seattle, Washington.  Tom is an artist and designer who has spent over twenty years in the architectural profession working on retail projects around the world.  During this time, he began immersing himself and personally connecting to the cultures and personalities of each country he worked in and came to the realization that these people, their cultures and their artwork had become his passion.

At Transglobal Arts, we believe the best way to bridge cultures and expand our understanding of the world around us is through art.  Our unique collection of artwork provides our customers with a direct link to an artist and their community.   Our business is based on supporting these artists and their craft; and ultimately, their communities.  We work with the artists and local non-profit organizations around the globe to donate back the net proceeds of the sale of our artwork to help maintain artistic traditions or provide social outreach programs to the people of these global communities.
